Today must be a big day to deserve two blog posts. It’s definitely been productive. I go the excerpt up, I’m working my way through galleys, and this came in the mail today:
Swag! Wildflower honey and caramel flavored lip balm.
Both the lip balm and the honey are from eBeeHoney, which is owned by my step-sister, Becky. When I got married, Becky provided these adorable little jars of honey and lip balms with a picture of my husband and I on them as favors for our engagement party. They were a huge hit so when it came time to think of some creative swag for Little Bird I knew exactly who I needed to talk to. Aside from the honey favors and lip balm, Becky also sells a huge variety of honey (the Tupelo is my favorite) and honey products. If you’re interested, please do check out her website.

I’m not sure what I’d do with the honey, but I sure could use some lip balm (picturing Napoleon Dynamite, “My lips hurt real bad.”) 🙂 I’m spending my summer chauffeuring my children around and reading new genres (you’ve inspired me to try out a few romances). Congratulations on your release!
I’m spending part of my summer looking for a good non-industrial made honey (especially local varieties) of all varieties. So I’d love giving yours a try. 🙂
Thought I’d mention my favorite movie with bees as an important plot point–“Candyman.” Although I hear the Nick Cage remake of “The Wicker Man” was fun in a ridiculously cheesy way. Haven’t tried wild flower honey yet, but it sounds tasty. Good luck with your book.
Ohhhh. I love honey, especially flavored honey. We have a local store that sells the flavored honey in the little plastic tubes. I tend to devour them rather quickly, as does my husband! It’s great for allergies and sinus problems, too! And as long as the honey bees leave me alone, I don’t go out of my way to kill them like I do wasps… and hornets… and other bees. 😉

Oh, I love honey. Wildflower Honey tends to have a light flavour, so for me its best destination is on top of hot buttered crumpets. Yum! Best wishes for Little Bird. 🙂
