Over the last several years, I’ve heard a lot of other authors say it’s been difficult to work given current events and that’s been true for me too. I finally got my groove back writing a story about politics. The hero and heroine of this new series, Gwen and Mac, both work on the presidential campaign for a democratic candidate and writing that world – one where I can control the outcomes – ended up being more cathartic than I ever imagined. I’m hoping it might be for readers too.
Undisclosed is the first book in Mac and Gwen’s story and will be released on June 16, 2020. I’m a reader too and I have feelings about cliffhangers so I want to be very upfront about the fact that Undisclosed ends with one. Their story will continue in the second book, scheduled for release in August 2020 and conclude with the third book in October 2020. I also have some tentative plans for follow-up books that focus on some of the secondary characters so if there’s someone you want to see get their own HEA let me know!

Alright. With all that out of the way, let’s have a look at the cover for Undisclosed. The cover artist sent it to me one afternoon when our goats had escaped their pen. Mr. Gaines and I had wrangled them back in and were repairing the fence when I received the notification. Of course, I had to check it and promptly dropped the tools I was holding for him and squee’d so loudly I scared the goats. I hope you’ll love it as much as I do!
